METAL FINISHES
What are our metal finishes?
Our mainline charms are solid brass with a variety of finishes, but most often PVD or Physical Vapor Deposition. This process results in an extremely hard coating that surpasses plating in durability and wear resistance.
18K GOLD
Our 18K gold PVD is a real gold, hard coating. We add an additional clear PVD layer on top for extra protection, which is uncommon in the industry.
RHODIUM
A silvery, precious plating that we choose to coat with a layer of clear PVD for added durability.
BLACK
A rich, deep black PVD coating that will last for years to come.
ANTI-TARNISH
Raw brass treated to stay shiny and tarnish very slowly over time.
ANTIQUE
A stylish plating that we also coat with an e-coat to protect against wear.
